Gummy Vitamins vs Renzo's Vitamins - What You Need To Know

Kid's vitamins come in so many varieties, it can be hard to know which one is right for your children. But an even harder task is to find a children's vitamin in your grocery aisle that doesn't contain sugar!

Unfortunately,  many parents and children today have an unhealthy relationship with sugar. It is in almost every food, even the foods we consider healthy - like vitamins. Finding a sugar free option can be tough, especially if you want it to taste good so your kids will actually eat them. That's why many children's vitamins brands today are loaded with as much sugar as an oreo cookie.

The two most popular choices amongst parents in the United States are chewable vitamins and gummy vitamins. Here's a quick breakdown of each vitamin type:

Chewable Vitamins for Kids

Chewables are a great way to give vitamins to children because they are easy for them to eat and often come in great flavors. It also takes away the stress of having to measure the correct dosage!

Renzo’s Vitamins offers tasty chewable vitamins for kids that contains no sugar or artificial flavors. Our vitamins are also vegan, allergen-free and non-GMO. Another great benefit of Renzo’s is that their tablets dissolve in your child’s mouth, so there is little risk of your child choking on them. You can also dissolve them into your child’s food if you have a Picky Eater.

Gummy Vitamins for Kids

Gummies tend to be a popular choice for parents because they look and taste like candy, therefore are easy to get your kids to eat. However, gummies are often filled with a lot of sugar and bad ingredients including corn syrup, artificial flavoring, and gelatin, which is terrible for your child’s teeth.

In addition to chewable and gummy vitamins for kids, there are also liquid, syrup and powdered vitamins varieties on the market. Each has their own set of pros and cons, so do your research and speak with your pediatrician if you are having trouble selecting.

Renzo's Vitamins contain no sugar and are sweetened with Monk Fruit, also known as “luo han guo” or “Buddha fruit" and is derived naturally from a dried fruit. According to the FDA website, permitted monk fruit sweeteners are completely safe for children and teens and can be a part of their well-balanced diet.

Gummy vitamins contain high amounts of sugar as well as gelatin which over time can severely damage your child's teeth. What's healthy about that?

if you are looking for a children's vitamin that your kids will love, contain no sugar, and won't stick to your child's teeth, consider Renzo's Vitamins. We currently offer a chewable Multivitamin, Iron, B6, and D3. Our vitamins are also vegan, non-GMO and allergen free. You can start at age 2 and because they dissolve in the mouth, there is no need to worry about choking.

I would like to order a multi vitamin for my almost 7 year old daughter. She doesn’t eat very well and when she does it’s not much. She doesn’t drink milk unless it’s on her spoon while eating cereal! I recently purchased the Smart Pants gummies and she didn’t like the “gritty” taste in the middle? Would you be able to send me a sample or 2 of a gummy daily multi vitamin for her to try?

Can all 4 vitamins you offer be taken together each day ?
