Frequently Asked Questions
What is Vitamin D3?
Vitamin D3, also known as the “sunshine vitamin” is an essential nutrient that helps your body absorb calcium, keeping your bones strong and supporting overall health. It’s super important, especially during less-sunny days!
Why is Vitamin D3 important for my child’s health as they grow?
Vitamin D3 supports the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, which is necessary for building and maintaining strong bones and teeth. Plus, it supports muscle health, which is important for physical activity and motor development in children!
Is your Vitamin D3 vegetarian and/or vegan friendly?
Yes, Dynamite D3 is both vegan and vegetarian friendly. We utilize a high quality plant-based form of D3 (cholecalciferol).
Can my child get enough Vitamin D3 from food alone?
It’s tough for kids to get enough Vitamin D3 from food alone since very few foods naturally have it. Fatty fish, egg yolks, and liver are great sources, but let’s be real—not every kid is asking for salmon and liver for dinner! Some foods like milk, orange juice, and cereals are fortified with D3, but even then, hitting the right amount every day can be tricky. That’s why many parents turn to supplements to help fill the gap and keep their little ones covered!
Can kids take multiple Renzo’s vitamins together?
They sure can! We understand all kid’s health needs are different. We recommend taking these one at a time so each flavor can be enjoyed on its own.
Pro tip: We recommend you take these without milk or dairy products as these can inhibit iron absorption.
My kids are younger than 2 years old, can they still take them?
Although we've had instances in which kids as young as 16 months take our Melty Tabs, we still recommend asking your health care provider if Renzo's is safe for your toddlers.
